Detailed Procedure to measure each part
Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck, ensuring a one-finger gap between the tape and your skin for comfort.
Measure around the widest part of your chest, just under the arms, allowing a two-finger gap between the tape and your body. The tape should be snug but not too tight or too loose.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your stomach. Maintain a two-finger space for an accurate yet comfortable fit. The tape should be straight and not overly tight.
Measure from the top of the shoulder down to the point where you want the sleeve cuff to end.
Place measuring tape from the point where the shoulder seam joins the sleeve and guide the tape down along the arm to the point below the wrist. Do not forget to add 1.5 cm to your final measurement.
Place the measuring tape from the point where the shoulder seam joins the sleeve of one hand to shoulder seam joining the sleeve of the other hand. Use that as the primary measurement and do not forget to add an allowance of 2-4 cm according to your normal standing posture and body build.
Measure vertically from the shoulder seam near the collar to the point where you want the length of the jacket or shirt to end.
Measure around the fullest part of the biceps, ensuring a two-finger space between the tape and your arm. Keep the tape parallel to the biceps level and avoid vertical measuring to prevent inaccuracies.
Measure from the top of the right waistband down to the floor. For an accurate fit, subtract 1–1.5 cm from the final measurement.
Wrap the measuring tape around your natural waistline, ensuring a relaxed fit with a two-finger space. The tape should be snug enough to stay in place without being too tight or too loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, ensuring the tape remains straight and parallel to the ground. Maintain a two-finger space for comfort. Avoid twisting or tilting the tape.
Place the measuring tape at the center of the front waistband, pass it between the legs, and measure up to the center of the back waistband. Take extra care, as this is a delicate area, to ensure accurate results.
